Trekking Itineraries:


Arrive Manali from Delhi and check into hotel. Local sightseeing in Manali

DAY 02: MANALI-KAZA Drive to Kaza and stay in hotel.

DAY 03: KAZA - KIBBER  Drive from Kaza to Kibber via Ki Monastery. Rest day        

DAY 04: KIBBER-THALTAK (4550 MTS.)  We walk down to a small river and up through the steep gorge bed to reach the village of Dumla, which is last inhabited village on this route. From Dumla it is a steep ascent gaining altitude in a fairly short span of time. We camp at Thaltak meadow with great views of the surrounding mountains. tents. 

DAY 05: THALTAK-JUGTHAK BASE(4850 MTS.) Thaltak the trail descends down to Parilungla Chu. Climb to Saghthag walking over the moraine. It is gradual and exhausting climb to reach the glaciated valley, one to the north and one to the south. Follow the moraine stretch towards north and reach the campsite at Jugthang. tents. 

DAY 06: JUGTHAG-PARANG LA (5600 MTS.)-KARSHA GONGMA (4800 MTS.)  This is an eventful day for those who have never climbed this height before. From camp climb up gradually to Parang-la on patches of snow, panoramic views of Peaks of Ladakh, Lahul and Spiti. Descend through crevasses and glacier on the left bank of Pare-Chu River to the campsite at Karsha Gongma. tents. 

DAY 07: KARSHA GONGMA-DOKPO PHIRTSE (4700 MTS.)  Gentle and easy walking along the Pare-Chu River and to be cross before reaching the camp site at Dokpo Phirtse. tents. 

DAY 08: DOKPO PHIRTSE-LUKHAANG (4550 MTS.) It is again an easy walking along the right bank of Pare-Chu River. Now the valley becomes wide as you follow the Pare-Chu. tents

DAY 09: LUKUNG-NORBU SUMDO-CHU KIRMO (4530 MTS.) We continue on to Chumik Shilde passing through Norbu Sumdo. We cross the Pare-Chu River and head in the direction of Tso Moriri Lake. There is a good possibility of meeting yak trains transporting goods in the area. Arrive at our camping spot in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxed evening. tents. 

DAY 10: CHU KIRMO -KYANGDUM (4540 MTS.) Today we walk across the plains to the southern edge of the oval-shaped high-altitude Tso Moriri Lake at Kiangdom, named after the kiangs (wild Tibetan asses) that roam freely here. The lake is a breeding ground for many rare migratory birds. It is a short day's walk and gives a great opportunity to photograph what is one of the most beautiful places of the entire trip. Tents. 

DAY 11: KIANGDOM-KARZOK VILLAGE (4650 MTS.) We start early and walk along the shores of the salt lake Tso Moriri. The view of the lake with Lungser Kangri (6666 Mts.) in the background is spectacular. We try to arrive in Karzok as early as possible to avoid the strong winds that are common in the afternoon. On arrival to Karzok we can visit the ancient monasteries and relax after a hard trek! tents.

DAY 12 KARZOK-LEH . Drive to Leh and stay in  hotel
